Planning Assessments
We have a wide breadth of experience in ecological assessment and over 15 years experience in producing a range of reports to facilitate planning applications. We provide our clients with Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIA), Appropriate Assessment (AA) Screening, Natura Impact Statements (NIS), Invasive Species Management Plans and WFD Assessments.

Biodiversity and River Restoration Advice
In recent years there has been a increased demand for Biodiversity Action Plans - by local Community groups, Councils and Businesses wishing to contribute to society through the biodiversity enhancements on their lands. We have provided reports, advice and follow-through to clients implementing those key measures for nature.
We also provide advice and reporting on river health and hydromorphology in particular. We assess rivers for their level of naturalness (RHS) and propose a range of measures to remedy or restore them back to their original form and function. As WFD (Water Framework Directive) is implemented in Ireland, we will be on board to provide WFD assessments at project level.

Surveys
With years of experience, we have the expertise to provide habitat mapping to Fossitt level 3, and species-specific surveys including mammals, bats, wintering birds, aquatic invertebrates and botanical identification. We can also provide Ecological Clerk of Works services for active projects.
We provide riverine and riparian surveys including RHS (River Habitat Survey), RCS (River Corridor Survey), Fluvial Audits, Kick Sampling for aquatic invertebrates (indicators of water quality) and Otter surveys.
